Consistent & Controlled — Major components are fabricated in a controlled environment by our partner, Epoch Homes, the northeast's premier fabricator of high-quality medium to large-scale custom homes. On delivery, these components are assembled efficiently and the structure is enclosed before weather becomes a factor. Construction Method Variable — Traditional frame construction. Materials are delivered and, often, stored on the property during construction. The materials and the structure may be subjected to long periods of exposure to the weather.
Consistent & Proven — Time tested construction methods and fabrication process results in consistent quality and the highest construction standards year after year. Expertise Difficult to Determine — The competency of traditional contractors varies. You hope to choose the best. But you only know for sure after your house is built.
Thorough & Consistent — Because major components are fabricated, your dedicated Project Manager has the time to focus on even the smallest details and efficiently coordinate every aspect of your home's construction— from design to move-in. Attention to Detail Variable — The contractor must coordinate every aspect of your construction — site work, foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, finish carpentry, everything! An overwhelming number of details for one individual to handle.
Consistently High — We take advantage of Epoch's massive buying power to purchase top grade materials at the lowest cost. Quality Materials Can Vary — Contractors buy materials off the yard, often selecting materials based on maximizing profit margins. Quality can vary.
Consistent — Fabrication by skilled craftsmen that specialize in building specific house components. Construction Quality Variable — It is a fact that there is a shortage of skilled craftsman in the construction industry. Remember that the contractor is just one member of his overall construction crew.
Guaranteed — Because of our controlled fabrication environment and innovative project management, we can guarantee your completion date! Completion Date Estimated — A best estimate based upon available labor, reliability of subcontractors, weather, materials delivery, and the importance of the contractor's other concurrent jobs.
Fixed Price Contract — The typical cost of a KE medium to large custom home: under $100/sq ft. Cost includes foundation, house, fixtures, lighting, cabinetry, carpets, tile, wood flooring — everything! And, we guarantee the final cost...up front...in writing! Cost Estimated — Typically estimated at $150 to $200/sq ft, depending on their costs and overhead rates, design changes they incorporated, and the fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, etc. that you select. You won't know the finished cost until you receive their final bill.
Long Term — KE has a reputation to maintain. We've been building for over a decade and we'll be here for decades to come. Longevity May Vary — Individual contractors come and go. Hire one to build your house this year and he may not be around in a year or two when you have a problem.
